the last 3 days

saturday - ws supposed to register for DSLP but didnt materialised..instead im deferring it to nxt year, insyaAllah..

got news that police have been arresting ppl since morning..went to LAC and there were FRU's and water canon trucks but the crowd was not as many..got there pretty late, about 3-4pm..

there was a meeting and we decided to go to FRU Cheras, but when we got there, they've sent some to other balai..was informed to go to dang wangi..

bad jam..bt was later told, polis menipu n they were instead sent to balai bkt jalil..went there..

we waited inside (in a way we were quite lucky that the allowed us in), we lepak n had a little picnic n joke around and was only bout 10ish or we managed to go n see clients..went n interviewed them..

we were informed that the laydies didnt have anything to eat the whole time, sasha mengamuk for a moment there cz we were assured that they had food and i demanded(cheh!) that the food some family members gave were gvn n the OCPD allowed(good!)..

then balik n stopped fr mkn but we were positive that theyre gna do remand the next day n decided to meet again at the balai..

SUNDAY

went to balai early cz farhana pandai n left all the interview sheets in my car so i have no choice but to arrive early..sure enough, remand only started at 12+ pm..for about 91 detainees.we were hopeful that the magistrate wud do it in one shot but ws wrng..

were very delighted to see that there were a number of lawyers there..meant we didnt have to do the remand hearing proper..

but as soon as the remand for the juveniles were heard, 1/2 of lawyers GONE..so we took charge la(LEGAL AIDERS RAWKED!!)

at bout 3.30pm everyone da penat cz x mkn n all..n we were restless coz the mgstrate wants to hear 3-5 detainees..meant that its gna b a long day..

at bout 7ish more lawyers turned up..BC rep n HRC rep..we were glad..but k.lat came earlier n we were all pumped up again..

out of 91 detainees, only 30 was remanded!!yey!we did awesome..

went bakc at 10.30ish pm

Monday

haissyy..got court aa pagi..penat la from yesterday..been receiving sms to say that the detainees gna b charged..no news from anyone else..waited..

at bout 10.30ish..MMG DIERANG NK CHARGE!who?xsure l..details n info sgt blur..

at 11.30 was in court da with other lawyers n confrm mmg akan dicharge!!we have to get ready for bail application..

judge adjourned to 2pm..started at 2.30ish..counter tutup at 3.30..sempatkah?

13 lawyers represented the detainees(cayalah kawan2)..we got bail at RM 500 each..the dpp asked for RM 6000 each..hampeh tol...

we all rushed to B1 sbb takut bank n registry tutup, everyone kna stay lock up one more day..n then i remembered..

i left my bag..stoopid of me..)little did i know Allah had planned something else)//i went in n k.laila, k.nash n k. athirah were shouting at the police n they wnted to gari them n was saying, lawyer korang tau da..

n i was like, kenapa nie?

they were gna be charge for anothr offence in another court n we werent informed..no one had a clue..apekah ini?

i rushed out..asked murnie to call everyone back..n pg to mgstrate ct..hhaaiissyy...ape la kna wat cani skali..

luckily we got hold of the news and they were gvn bail for RM 200 each..

everythg ended at almost 8pm weih..
